Pam Marlin is a native of Gainesville, Florida, and a long-time member of the University of Florida community, where she served in the Department of Soil and Water Science and the Department of Physics for over 30 years in graduate program support and administration. She is the author of dmarlin.com/pastprologue, where she shares reflections on history, family narratives, and personal perspective. Her recent feature articles in UF Physics highlight both her long career and lasting impact on the graduate program, recognizing her dedication to supporting students and faculty throughout decades of service. Outside of her professional work, she is interested in genealogy, historical research, travel, and then and now photography, all of which inform her writing and storytelling.
