Fernandina Beach, Florida, Then & Now

P. Marlin March 2015

A day trip to Fernandina Beach, Florida. The original black and white photos are not very clear, I was unable to find higher resolution photos.

Amelia Island Paint was originally another retail store on the corner of Ash and 6th streets.

Dog Star Tavern was once Lohman's Dry Goods store, located on 2nd off Centre Street.

Enjoying the beach in the 1920's and today. The license plate on the car says, "Jacksonville, Florida."

Looking down Centre Street in 1915 and 2015.

The old train depot in 1890 and 2015.

Original black and white photos from the Florida State Archives
