ELY FAMILY GENEALOGY

The Ely family are the ancestors of Jerusha Bushnell Cleveland Hawley on her mother, Clarissa (or Clarinda) Ely's, side. The Descendants of Nathaniel Ely (PDF), compiled by Heman Ely, documents the family back to Nathaniel Ely, emigrant from England in 1605. Jerusha and her family are noted on page 323 (or see below image). Clarissa (or Clarinda) was married to Daniel Cleveland of the Cleveland Family.
